During the La Mercè festivities, from 22 to 24 September, Parc de la Ciutadella will be hosting another edition of Terra i Gust [A Taste of the Land], Barcelona’s sustainable food festival. What surprises are in store for you?
The new line of subsidies, compensating farmers for the social and environmental benefits they generate, has been rated positively by the sector and has shown the potential of direct support for agricultural activity.
We went to Barcelona's Pier and to the Llotja de Barcelona, the city's wholesale fish market, to talk to a skipper, a fisherman and a fishmonger about their work at sea, at the port and the market, respectively.
This year, it will be held for the first time at the Parc de la Ciutadella and will feature an expanded culinary space, with more dishes and creations from some of the city's most renowned sustainable restaurants.
