Julia del Valle González

Expert in agroecology and food systems. Coordinator for the Agroecology and Territory Department at the Germinando Cooperative

She has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Alcalá de Henares and a master’s degree in Agroecology: an Approach to Rural Sustainability from the International University of Andulasia. Additionally she is an expert in creating and managing social economy organisations, thanks to her studies at the Complutense University of Madrid.

She is a founding member of the Germinando Cooperative, and is currently the coordinator of the Agroecology and Rural Development Department.

At present, her professional activity is focused on technical advice, research, consultancy, project coordination in the area of agro-ecological revitalisation, agri-food systems and rural development. She also has extensive experience in implementing and coordinating training projects, and in participatory social revitalisation processes.

She has taken part in several research projects, and has contributed to publications relating to agro-ecological food systems, short channel marketing and educational agro-ecological allotments.
