With a PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona, she is a specialist in rural and agricultural development. She has been working for Barcelona Provincial Council since 2008. At present she is the manager of the Baix Llobregat Agricultural Park Consortium.
She is an associate lecturer at the Department of Applied Economics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She has taken part in several European and national projects in the area of rural development policies within the framework of the EU, entrepreneurship and multi-functionality. Currently she is the coordinator of the Rural Development section at the Catalan Institute of Agricultural Studies at the IEC
